Site Monitoring and Remediation Oversight: On-Site Quality Control
The execution of a decontamination project requires rigorous technical supervision to ensure that the approved plan is fully complied with, within budget and stipulated deadlines. ETP acts as an independent coordinating and inspecting entity on-site, ensuring the link between the client, technological partners, and environmental authorities, with a total focus on quality and safety.
Our on-site supervision steps
Our support is continuous and covers the entire intervention lifecycle, from site setup to final demobilization.
1. Supervision and Coordination of Works
We monitor the execution of remediation operations, overseeing the installation of equipment, the drilling of boreholes, and the application of chemical or biological reagents. We ensure that all interventions strictly follow the designed engineering project.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Compliance Monitoring
We ensure that the work proceeds in strict compliance with the Environmental Single Title (TUA). We control potential secondary impacts of the work, such as dust emissions, noise, odors, and the proper management of waste generated during the remediation itself, protecting workers and the neighborhood.
3. Administrative Management and Process Closure
Data collection during the works is vital. We compile the interim analytical results and, at the end of the intervention, produce the Final Remediation Report. This technical and legal document is submitted to the Portuguese Environment Agency (APA) to attest to the operation's success and request the formal closure of the process.
Independence and Transparency
As supervisors, we exclusively defend the interests of our client. Our independent oversight ensures that there are no technical deviations, optimizing resources and impartially validating the success of the decontamination.
