Technologies and Field Intervention

Technologies In Situ (No-Dig)
Ideal for locations where excavation is impossible (e.g., under operational buildings) or too expensive. Treatment occurs in the ground itself:
AS/SVEAir Sparging / Soil Vapor Extraction):
Extraction of volatile compounds from soil and air injection into groundwater.
ISCO/ISCR
Injection of chemical oxidants or reductants directly into the aquifer to destroy contaminants in situ.
Bioremediation
Stimulating natural soil microorganisms to degrade pollution.
Soil Flushing Reactive Barriers
In situ washing and creation of underground barriers to intercept and treat contamination plumes.
Technologies Ex Situ (With Excavation/Extraction)
When rapid intervention is necessary or physical removal is the most viable option:
Pump and Treat / MPE:
Pumping contaminated groundwater for treatment at an aboveground facility.
Soil Washing Thermal Desorption:
Washing or heating of excavated soil for separation and removal of pollutants.
Landfarming Biopiles:
Biological treatment of excavated soils in controlled areas.
Dig and Dump:
Excavation and transport of contaminated soil to a licensed final disposal site (landfill or cement plants).
Integrated Construction Management
